New iBox-Zero takes Cash in Transit industry by storm

'Spinnaker Wins Award'

We are pleased to announce we have released a new version of our highly successful iBox, the first cash transport container that degrades cash to the highest standards in Europe, without the use of pyrotechnic devices.

David Milner, Head of Sales and Marketing for Spinnaker commented on client feedback following release of the product three months ago.

“Our customers are delighted they can buy a product that withstands the rigours of an armoured vehicle but does not need charging. The previous iBox was a huge success because of its guard friendliness, and winning over the security personnel is a major factor when ensuring equipment is used correctly. Previously, customers had to supply power from the vehicle to charge the equipment, which was not always popular. Now they have the best of both worlds. A very reliable piece of security equipment and one that is not affected by vehicle servicing or long weekends without the engine running”.

Many clients overseas have been attracted to the iBox because of its ability to stain cash through plastic security bags without the health and safety worries associated with pyrotechnics. The Patented Spinnaker mechanism uses plastic tubes to safely inject bags of cash with ink at high speed in the event of a robbery. This means that no matter how quickly the container is subsequently opened the ink stays in the bags with money. iBox-Zero has a further security feature that ensures stolen containers always activate at the scene of the crime.

We are pleased to announce we have achieved the Queen's Award For Enterprise, in the Innovation category for our iBox cash-in-transit protection system. The award is an independent and prestigious endorsement of the quality of our company and products. The innovation award requires outstanding and continuous Innovation sustained over a five year period.

"I know the time and energy that lies behind Spinnaker's success and I am very happy to offer my congratulations to them on securing this coveted award" - South East Cornwall MP Colin Breed.
